At Dubai International Airport
Emirate Airlines is offering a new way for passengers to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. At Dubai International Airport, customers and employees are required to wear gloves and masks. All airline staff and cabin crew are required to use PPE (personal protective equipment) including disposable gowns, safety visors, masks, and gloves. At the airport, there are now thermal scanners in place that can take the temperature of all passengers and employees. Other precautions set in place include social distancing indicators around the airport and protective barriers in front of check-in desks.

Emirates flights will strategically place vacated seats throughout the rows of the aircraft. In order to reduce contact between passengers and crew, meals will be served in bento-style boxes, and airline magazines and print materials will be temporarily unavailable. Additionally, passengers are not permitted to bring cabin baggage. Carry-on items are limited to handbags, laptops, briefcases, or baby items. All Emirates aircraft will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in Dubai after each flight.
